Base pads for Glock 17

A base pad does two things for the G17: a heavier pad adds the mass that drops the magazine cleanly after the release -- without relying on spring tension alone -- and the right geometry closes the magwell funnel at the bottom if a magwell is fitted. The G17 is the standard Production division full-size Glock, and the base pad is part of the complete competition reload setup. The G17 and G34 share the same 9mm magazine, so base pad compatibility applies to both.
