A magwell gives the incoming VP9 magazine a wider, more forgiving entry point under stage pressure. The VP9 and SFP9 share the same platform and the same magwell compatibility. A compatible base pad closes the funnel geometry at the bottom. For VP9 competition shooters, magwell and base pad are chosen together and confirmed on the individual product page before ordering.
